What is Natural Nutrition?
Natural Nutrition is a holistic therapy that treats everyone as an individual, seeking out and removing the cause of disease rather than simply suppressing the symptoms. Natural Nutrition can help people with all manner of health problems, whether they are physical, mental, emotional, chronic or degenerative states.
In ancient cultures the beneficial effects of a good diet were fully recognised. Today however in our modern world this knowledge seems to have been largely lost. It is hardly surprising that we are now suffering the ill effects of our highly refined, processed and de-natured diet, which has manifested itself in degenerative diseases such as heart disease, IBS, arthritis and allergies.
Although many people are now becoming interested in a healthy diet, most do not realise the true therapeutic value of food, and the fact that it can be used to reverse the course of disease and regain optimum health, even in those who have become seriously ill. Natural Nutrition is much more than keeping healthy by eating a healthy diet., individual programmes are created that can be supported with other naturopathic techniques like colon hydrotherapy, which provide the gentle tools to aid movement and detoxification within the body.
The healing power of nature is a wonderful tool. The body can heal cuts, mend broken bones, rid itself of infections and more. I believe in the principles of therapeutic, naturopathic and natural medicine. These are essential in achieving and maintaining good health, by the correct balance of rest, exercise and nutritional input.
I have worked with many clients that have suffered from ME, metal toxicity, Candida, thyroid problems, weight gain, allergies, depression, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, IBS, bloating and other common complaints.
Treating people not symptoms
Holistic therapies treat the person as a whole, rather than as individual symptoms. Holistic therapy is personalised and every treatment is tailored to the needs of the individual receiving it.
A one-to-one consultation with a highly qualified natural nutritional therapist can make a big difference to symptoms that you may have been suffering with for years. This can include any of the following:
- Fatigue
- Stress
- Headaches and Migraines
- Stomach bloating
- Digestive Disorders
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Weight Management
- Hormonal Imbalance
- Menstrual Problems
- Insomnia
- Mood Swings
- Low libido
- Arthritis
- Depression
- High Cholesterol
- Skin problems
- Candida
- Infertility
- Under active Thyroid
- Frequent colds and infections
These are sometimes called sub-clinical conditions, unlike the clinically defined illnesses that doctors generally treat with either medication or surgery. A nutritional therapist hopes to see patients when the earliest symptoms present themselves, but may be able to help at any stage.
